Photo Contest - Get Ready for 2011
Send in your photos for a chance to win!
In 2011 , make sure you take plenty of photos of your gardens and containers. We are holding a photo competition and are giving away a $50 gift certificate for the Flower Farm for the top photo in each category.
Here's how it works:
There are 3 categories:
- A 'My garden'
- any shot showing off your garden or part of your garden - B 'Container(s) - my creation(s)'
- any shot showing containers that you have created yourself with plants from the Flower Farm - C 'Container(s)
- bought at Flower Farm'
- any shot showing ready planted hanging baskets or planters bought at the Flower Farm, but tended and grown by you
With each photo, please include the following information:
- Your name and home town or township
- Category entered ie A, B or C
- Some short comments about the plants in the photo, and / or your experiences shopping at the Flower Farm
Other things you need to know:
Contest opens for entries August 20th. 2011. We'll supply submission instructions then.
E mailed photos only accepted.
You may enter up to 3 photos in each category.
We reserve the right to post photos and comments on our website's Customer Brag Page or in the Photo Gallery with your first name and home town displayed.
Winners will be chosen based on the overall interest of the photo - not necessarily artistic merit! Comments will not be judged (unless they are bad!!) Deadline for entries is September 30 2011
Gardens and creations must be your own and you must do your own maintenance - we rely on your honesty for this one!! So please - it's not difficult - send us your photos - we would love to see what you have been up to in your gardens this summer - and don't worry about your abilities as a photographer - it is the plants we are interested in!!
